Yixin is a talented young 彫金師（ちょうきんし / Chōkinshi）, dedicated to the art of 純手作り彫金（じゅんてづくりちょうきん / traditional hand engraving）. He specializes in techniques such as 片切彫（かたきりぼり / katakiribori） and 毛彫（けぼり / kebori）, which require great precision and artistic sensitivity.

His engravings cover a broad range of 自然題材（しぜんだいざい / nature-inspired motifs）, including 動物（どうぶつ / animals）, 植物（しょくぶつ / plants）, and 花鳥風月（かちょうふうげつ / flowers, birds, wind, and moon）.
