This handcrafted saya features an Orange Nashiji-nuri (橙梨子地塗) finish—an orange lacquer base sprinkled with fine metallic nashiji powder. The surface shimmers warmly under the light, with countless golden-orange specks creating a luminous and textured brilliance. The koiguchi (mouth), kurigata (cord knob), and kojiri (end cap) are made from polished natural horn, ensuring structural durability and organic beauty.
