This handcrafted saya features a Shuro Raden-nuri (棕櫚螺鈿塗) finish—an exquisite technique combining the fibrous texture of Shuro-nuri (棕櫚塗) with luminous shell inlay (raden). The surface displays a dynamic interplay of earthy brown tones and iridescent fragments that shift between silver, blue, and green under the light, creating a sophisticated balance between natural texture and celestial brilliance.

The koiguchi (mouth), kurigata (cord knob), and kojiri (end cap) are crafted from polished natural horn, providing durability and organic refinement.
